Fight Tartar & Plaque
Remedies to Treat and Removal of Teeth Tartar, Plaque
Plaque is a clear, soft and sticky invisible film deposit of bacteria that sticks to the surface of teeth and gum tissue. Plaque is caused by the continual accumulation of minerals from saliva on teeth and gum line. If plaque is not removed by regular brushing and flossing, it can harden into calculus, also called tartar; a form of hardened dental plaque. Some of the bacteria in plaque cause tooth decay, and some are responsible for periodontal or gum disease. Tartar is a calcified material that often contains bacterial debris and sometimes plaque.
Tartar formation can result in a number of clinical manifestations, including bad breath, receding gums and chronically swollen gingiva. Also, tartar and plaque can give your teeth a very unattractive look. It is important to keep them under control and prevent them from painful tooth decay and serious gum diseases.

Grandparents not only gave advises on good personal hygiene practices, but also came up with a few tips and home remedies to treat and remove tartar and plaque
Suggestions and natural home remedies left behind by my grandparents to remove tartar, plaque from teeth are:
Squeeze oil from the orange peels/grinds and rub directly on your teeth. Leave it on for half an hour and brush your teeth. This is how good it can be with my grandparents' home remedy to fight tartar and plaque. Also, make paste by mixing 1 tbsp of baking soda and 1 tsp of common table salt with a few drops of water or hydrogen peroxide. A few drops of orange peel oil would be great too. Apply this remedy in the morning and at night before bedtime. During the day, after every meal give a mouthful of salt and water swish. This remedy will help soften and remove plaque build up on your teeth, and will give a sparkle to your teeth. Brush and floss your teeth regularly. Do not brush your teeth with baking soda for more than once a week. Frequent use of baking soda can damage enamel of your teeth - that's what I read.
Try these fantastic and easy home remedies in removal of stubborn plaque and tartar. I believe in my grandparents' wisdom and home remedies.
